Michael Schmidt has more than 20 years of experience as international manager and consultant. Besides his activity as Sourcing Expert at our company, he is active as strategic consultant in the area of supplier research, supply chain development and sourcing of raw materials at INEAST Consulting Bonn.
He was managing director for Association of Germany Chambers of Industry and Commerce (AHK) in Serbia. Mr. Schmidt was employed by Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia as advisor, by Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as Project Manager and by German Institute for Economic Research – DIW Berlin, Moscow / Berlin as Research Associate.
Michael Schmidt was born in 1975 in Bonn, Germany. He has obtained degrees in economics at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW), Kiel, Germany; University of Warwick (UK), State University of St. Petersburg (Russian Federation) and the University of York (UK).
Mr. Schmidt speaks fluent English, German, Russian and Serbian.
